Updated: Oct 18, 2019

When:  March 9, 2019, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Where:  TechNexus Venture Collaborative, 20 N. Upper Wacker Drive, #1200, Chicago, IL 60606

ChiWIP hosted an event to help Brownie troops throughout Chicagoland attain both their Girl Scout Inventor Badge along with their IP Patch. Resulting from a partnership between the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital (GSCNC) and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in collaboration with the Intellectual Property Owners (IPO) Association Education Foundation, the IP Patch for Girl Scouts was designed to increase awareness of the creation and protection of intellectual property across disciplines and particularly as it relates to the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) for girls of all ages.
