By registering for and attending this Chicago Women in IP (ChiWIP) event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

ChiWIP may capture photographs, videos, and audio recordings during this event. By your presence, you grant ChiWIP permission to use your name, image, voice, and likeness in our promotional and educational materials, including our website, social media accounts, newsletters, event announcements, and fundraising materials, without compensation or further approval.

You may revoke this consent at any time by submitting a written request to planningcommittee@chiwip.org.

 

Opt-out options:

  • Inform event staff upon arrival if you do not wish to be photographed

  • Sit in designated "photo-free" areas if available

  • Email planningcomittee@chiwip.org within 30 days after the event to request removal of specific images

 

For attendees under 18: A parent or legal guardian must provide written consent before the minor may be photographed or recorded. Please contact event staff for the appropriate form.

ChiWIP respects your privacy and will handle all images in accordance with Illinois law, including the Illinois Right of Publicity Act and Biometric Information Privacy Act. We do not, and will not, use facial recognition technology on any images collected.
